Nighttime was the most convenient time for Gaara to meet his off-world friends. As a matter of fact, he was very occupied with this Kazekage duties during the day, and he couldn't just take off whenever he wanted, of course.
He wasn't certain what to expect, exactly, as every adventure to a new world was different. Following Yugi's directions, Gaara entered the baseball field and looked around with a great deal of curiosity. He had heard of this sport from one of his friends, but baseball didn't exist in his own world, so he really knew nothing about it first-hand.
While the redhead was walking forward, he noticed two boys standing nearby, and he hesitated before deciding to approach them, albeit carefully.
