Georgia-style excitement

Heh . . . wow.  What a day.  Where to begin?

I had to wake up Jonouchi-kun this morning, after a terrible storm woke me up.  A tornado, as it turned out.  Or, well . . . almost one.  It didnt' touch down where we are, but it did rip through cities very near ours.  And it did damage to Dragon's home.  Put a hole in the living room roof.  A tree did, I mean.  In fact, she wrote all about it.  I know she just posted it because of the soulbond we share.  Heh, that was the only thing that kept me home, to be honest, nevermind Mom.  The Carringtons came down into the basement with us and we waited out the storm.  Dragon even told Yami to go ahead and stay with us, that they had things under control over there.

We spent the day helping clean up after that.  Jonouchi-kun and I helped Edward and the kids pick up around the yard while Mom worked with Cathy and Dragon.  Heh . . . even Yami helped.  He could manifest and concentrate his energies enough to assist with little things - hold the dustpan while Dragon swept, for instance.  Grandpa stayed with Mr. Carrington to help around our house but . . . the Langstroms had a lot more damage and more work to be done.
