Kinda off-topic and kinda not, cuz the issue is getting merchandise and the merchandise is YGO stuff so . . . 

Has anyone else ever ordered anything from Cartoon Passion before?  www.cartoonpassion.com  What was your experience?  Did you /get/ your order?  How long did it take?  Were you notified in a decent amount of time if they /weren't/ going to be able to deliver it?

A month ago (March 22nd), I placed an order for two YGO CD's.  In the confirmation email, they very clearly state that the order should ship in 1-2 weeks max, and that I would be notified via email if it could not be shipped for whatever reason within 3 weeks.  It's been just over four and no email.  On April 10th, two-and-a-half weeks from the date of purchase, I sent them a friendly email asking if they could tell me anything about my purchase.  No reply.  I just emailed them again - still polite, but much firmer about getting an answer.

I'm doubly perturbed about this because a friend of mine ordered something from them clear back in November or December, and /that/ has never been received, either.  I should know . . . /I'm/ the one she bought it for.  A YGO wallscroll.  She emailed them (again?) recently, about two months ago? - maybe less - asking about the order.  They replied that they emailed her "months ago" about how the item was out of stock and for her to please choose something else or request a refund.  She gave me the option, and I gave her my choices . . . two, a second in case my first turned out to be out of stock too.  In fact, I discussed the whole thing with a mutual friend of ours - [personal profile] guardianlunnaei, actually - and Lunnaei went to look at what I'd chosen and marvelled at how there was now not even half the selection there had been when she and our mutual friend had discussed which wallscroll to buy.  So . . . I don't know what to think.  I /could/ believe that the email was sent from their end but never received somehow, or that it got lost in the shuffle of my friend's Inbox (unlikely, but it /does/ happen even to the best of us), and I could also believe that the second order was shipped, and just has gotten misplaced so far between here and there (not a happy thought but, again, it /does/ happen), especially since they seem to ship via USPS which you /can't/ track, unlike UPS or FedEx.

*muttermutter*  Okay, gonna stop semi-ranting and leave my question out there.  What other experiences have people had?  Thanks!!
